The TWiST Startup Effect’s mission is to unite founders and co-founders in addition to very early stage team members (approximately your first 3 employees).  Although the site’s primary focus is on technology and web-based startups, I encourage founders from other industries to utilize the site as well.  The TWiST Startup Effect is meant to be simple and effective.

In order to insure that your submission is posted.  Please make sure that you adhere to the following points:

  • All job postings must be appropriate.  (Absolutely no spam, no recruiters/headhunters, MLM, marketing gimmicks, or “get-rich-quick” submissions.)
  • Make sure that your posting is thorough and clear.  Submissions are expected to use proper grammar and spelling.
  • Submissions should include contact information, position requirements, and any other relevant information for potential candidates to review.
  • The TWiST Startup Effect is meant to unite founders and cofounders and very early stage employees.  Early stage employees are defined as your first hires, approximately employees 1-3.

If you are unsure about how to write or structure your posting, a good example can be found here.

  • Formatting/tagging only allows for a single job location. Use virtual if there are multiple location possibilities and provide further details in the job description.
  • Basic HTML can be used to format your position description such as lists, paragraphs, bolded items, etc. Don't forget to include a method of contact. http://scr.im/ is a great site for sharing your email while reducing spam.
  • This email address will only be used for contact purposes by the TWiST Startup Effect. It will not be visible once your submission has been posted. Please make sure to leave a method of contact for potential candidates in the job description area.
