Position:
Liv is looking for an artist – someone who brings passion, desire, and energy to a thriving startup environment that fosters creativity and opportunities for innovation. We are looking for an essential member of a team who wants to design the Liv website that millions of people will use and love.

Liv:
Liv is a web-based start-up company that provides online shoppers with the social experience they have been missing. At it’s core, Liv allows you to collect and organize all your favorite products from all over the Internet to your wish list to compare, share, and store for later. But this alone does not distinguish Liv from other social shopping websites. By leveraging users’ existing friend lists and profiles from sites such as facebook, Liv lets you instantly recommend and share products with the people you care about. Our simplistic and efficient interface makes for a seamless transition from the solitary experience of online shoppers today to a social experience that more closely resembles in-store shopping.

How we’re different:
Unlike the majority of tech companies located in Silicon Valley, Liv’s success will not be based on acquiring early technology adapters as our primary users. We recognize that mainstream internet users, such as women in their 20s and 30s, are a rich growing market that has a huge need for this product. Advertisers and retailers also want to target this audience because of their discretionary income and desire to shop, but reaching these individuals through the internet can be challenging as they have a lower tech knowledge than early adapters of web-based applications. At Liv, we embrace this challenge because we believe that websites can be simple enough for everyone to use them while still providing a valuable product for a large market.

Current State:
Liv is fully developed and is currently cleaning up the look and feel of the website. We are in a private Beta working out of Palo Alto, California.

Requirements:
Experienced and knowledgeable in: Graphic Design, Photoshop, Javascript, Design/UX knowledge, CSS, and HTML.
